Main Purpose of the Job:

• Responsible for ensuring that all withdrawal requests via cheque and inter and intrabank transfers are handled with the required efficiency and effectiveness.

• Ensures that all processing of withdrawals comply with stipulated deadlines and exceptions are reported when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for processing clients' withdrawal requests and ensuring that such are accurately handled while paying attention to all details included in clients instructions.

• Responsible for extracting clients' withdrawal requests via emails, letters and online and debiting client's stockbroking account accordingly.

• Responsible for identifying withdrawal requests consequent upon execution of sales mandates on the due dates and effecting such as and when due.

• Responsible for initiating and uploading payments via NBOL under supervision of the Unit head.

• Ensures that exceptional transactions are adequately identified and reported to the Unit Head on a timely basis for further actions.

• Providing assistance to the Unit Head in coordinating unit activities and work process flow.

• Maintaining a log in excel format for daily updating of withdrawal requests and other related payments.

• Ensures that clients stockbroking accounts are adequately funded for withdrawals and that such funds are due while ascertaining that clients stockbroking accounts are reviewed for outstanding purchase orders which could reduce the available balance.

• Responsible for ensuring that existing internal controls and regulatory policies over the settlement process are strictly adhered to.

Key Performance Measures:

• Accurately transferring of clients' withdrawal requests within stipulated timeline by ensuring that all details are carefully considered.

• Ensures that the company's policies and regulatory standards are strictly adhered to.

• Prompt resolution of all mandate related issue towards achieving consistent clients' satisfaction

• Positive feedback from internal and external clients with respect to treatment of client's mandates and resolution of issues.

• Elimination of errors and omissions with respect to clients withdrawal requests.

• Contributes towards the continuous improvement and automation of settlement process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Knowledge:

• University Degree

• Strong Analytical/Numerate Skills

• Proper understanding of Wealth Management Operations, Products and Services particularly StockBroking operations.

• Excellent use of MS Office Applications such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Experience:

• At least 2 years experience in stockbroking operations.
