Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Purpose Statement: Ensure proper management of all existing cargo contracts across Aero's global network, ensure safe and efficient managing of cargo service delivery in a cost effective way that will ensure performance against agreed SLAs.

Key Accountabilities: – Support and manage the cargo operations team in its daily operations and plan long term development.  – Responsible for proper documentation, supervision and coordination of all cargo on board Aero flights.  – Coordinate the activities of the nominated cargo contractor and all 3rd party contractors to ensure a smooth day-to-day operations and conformity to laid down SLA's.  – Conform to law and legislation of the Airport Authorities and also according to "Local Operational Procedures" (LOP) of Aero's policies and manuals.  – Support all operational budgets requirements and help deliver an operational plan against forecasts /targets.  – Attend and represent the CCAS at operation/commercial meetings. – Direct and delegate all Customer Relations queries to the nominated Cargo contractor.  – Support the CCAS in ensuring robust processes are in place for Business Continuity and Emergency Planning.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:  – This position requires a graduate with University Degree or its equivalent.  – 5 years work experience in airport operations with a minimum 3 years in a similar position.  – A good understanding of 'Air Cargo" and Airport operations.  – Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.  – Excellent knowledge of Aero's Cargo policy & procedures.  – Excellent negotiation and communication skills are very essential.
