A leading Oil and Gas Operator is looking for a Wells HSE Expat Coach.

Purpose:

•   No NPT on drilling operations with regards to site HSE management

•   Audit to ensure Zero non compliance and

•   Improving performance to achieve best in class and or top quartile (TQ) performance.

Principal Responsibilities:

•   Interface with all players in rig activities at site and embed good HSE culture at work ? BE GZ focus.

•   Deliverable: Timely HSE interventions executed per site visit and sustaining ZERO incidents on the rigs.

•   Provide support to Goal Zero Scout to ensure timely application of learnings. Use train the trainers approach to enhance the HSE competency of rig crews.

•   Deliverable: Number of coaching done per run and the impact on the HSE culture of the rigs. Deliver all the Wells HSE intervention programs and ensure penetrations. Carry out Work site Hazard mgt assessment per rig and track improvement in the next run. Carry out HSE health check per visit.

•   Provide support and deliver best in class Learning From Incidents (LFI) sharing specific to activity at task level to enhance risk appreciation. Ensure effective penetration of learnings and sharing best practices.

•   Deliverable: Number of LFIs shared ( site task specific that enhanced understanding of risk associated with such work).

•   Deliverable: conduct quarterly audit on the HSE performance of the rig.

•   Deliverable: Participate in TRIC and coach crew on risk assessment and appreciation. Keep records of involvement

•   Deliverable: Embed DROPS/PTW/TPW/Lifting & Hoisting on the rigs and ensure penetration among the crew.

•   Deliverable. Monitor performance of Goal Zero staff & report on performance.

Develop frontline supervisors in the following:

Deliverables:

•   Hazard identification (Hazard hunting)

•   STOP/TRIC/JHA/TOOLBOX TALK

•   Risk Assessment/Permit to work implementation

•   Compliance with Hazardous Area Classification

•   Concurrent Operations procedure/MOPO implementation

•   Management of Change

•   Implementation of Temporary Pipe Works requirements

•   Compliance with dropped objects hazards/control requirements

•   Lifting & Hoisting

•   Management of Safety Critical Equipment

•   Hearts and Minds safety culture improvement engagement

•   Transport risks (Land & marine journey mgt)

•   Work site Hazard Mgt

•   Preventive maintenance Systems (PMS)

•   Incident investigation/Learning from Incidents

•   Emergency Response

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Professional drilling personnel with a minimum of 15 years of experience.

Competence:

•   Meets the Group HSSE General Competence requirement.

•   Skilled in HSSE risk Management Framework

•   Skilled in HEMP and Safe Systems of work

•   Skilled in Process Safety ( well control etc)

•   Skilled in analysing and solving problems, communicating, persuading and being personally creative and innovative

•   Skilled in delivering through others

•   Skilled at team working, managing Business interfaces and working and embedding change

•   Skilled in Wells management techniques.

•   Good understanding of business aspects of HSE in the short and long term
