Job description:

•   Performs (along with crew memebers) the rigging up and down of Surface Testing Equipment (STE) on onshore/offshore work locations for the purpose of providing well-test services during the evaluation phase of a well.

•   Consults with customers relating to services and products being provided. Promotes safety along with good customer relations at the well site, and assures customer complete satisfaction with results.

•   Provides the necessary planning for the successful job execution, including; Equipment set up, well site direction, and customer-related support activities.

•   Responsible for the activities relating to maintaining, setting-up, testing, and operating Well test equipment at the customer location (Rig site). equipment (i.e., (i) on field operations with Choke Manifold.( ii) Surface Testing Tree. (iii) Emergency Safety System iv) Flexible Piping v) Data Header(vi) Flow line piping components (vii) High and Low Pressure Separator systems.(viii) Fluid transfer pumps ix) Flow hoses x) Lifting Slings certification requirements (xi) Atmospheric and Pressurized tanks / vessels (xii) Flare booms, etc.).

•   Assist and support with the training of service operators in areas of expertise. Monitor activities, instruments and perform necessary calculation checks to assure quality of data/job is of the highest standard.

•   Properly maintains assigned equipment and monitors compliance with safety regulations and all realted procedures.

•   Conduct pre-job toolbox safety meetings. Reviewing and verifying job plan(s) with customer representative, managing any changes required. Checks and verifies equipment specs as per job plan.

Requirements:

•   Skills typically acquired through completion of Secondary school with Science biases, OND/HND/BSC in Engineering or Applied Sciences, or similar education.

•   A minimum of 8 years experience as a Service Operator -Senior Operator.

•   Must have successfully passed company internal/external tests and/or met task guideline requirements.

•   Must have successfully completed the minimum competency requirements for Svc Operator I -IV or Senior Operator. Must have successfully completed Job Safety Analysis Training, introductory Taproot Saftey Training, meeting training requirements, Risk Analysis and Assessment training. Advantageous to have attended Surface Computer Acquistion Network III (SCAN, Edge X, or prefarably Fekete DAQ training, Basic computer navigational training and Company Code of Business conduct training.

•   Must be able to a interpret WT P&ID and production flow diagrams, and equipment drawings, identify various rig supplies ancillary equipment and resources. Demonstrate ability to pressure test equipment safely and and communicate job specific requirements. Must be able to understand and explain STE equipment placement / layout per the job diagram
