A leading award winning global provider of technology solutions for the energy industry. With approximately 18,400 employees and operating 30 production facilities in 16 countries. The client designs, manufactures and services technologically sophisticated systems and products such as Subsea production and processing systems, surface wellhead systems, high pressure fluid control equipment, measurement solutions, and marine loading systems for the oil and gas industry.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Subsea systems engineers with strong experience and expertise in the required discipline. With market demand increasing rapidly, this stimulating role will require advanced Subsea experience

RESPONSIBILITY:  – Responsible for system engineering within the project defined by the Contract Scope of Work, Project Master Equipment List, Project Schedules and Budgets  – Overall responsible that the engineering is executed in accordance with client's requirements for HSE and quality.  – Responsible for establishing the system engineering documentation as e.g. engineering plan, Master Equipment List and Design Basis Document for the complete project.  – Accountability: The System Engineer has authority to act on behalf of the Project Management in all areas regarding project specific technical solutions and technical documentation.  – Authority to initiate, direct and complete technical solutions and engineering work in the project related to products supplied from the product lines, and to overall system performance.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:

The Systems engineer must have the following qualifications:  – Due to Local content laws we need competent Nigerian Engineering professionals with deepwater experience  – Must have a minimum of a BS degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of relevant subsea experience, preferably in a field development or systems engineering related role. A MS degree in engineering is preferred.  – Be able to demonstrate technical knowledge of Subsea Production Systems with experience from one or more of the following products; trees, manifolds, topsides controls, connection systems, subsea processing systems, installation, wellheads, subsea controls & distribution and overall system integration.  – Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral English communication skills. Additional languages a plus. Adapts communication style to personalities and situation
