I’m innocent, says war crimes suspect

Congolese war crimes suspect Bosco Ntaganda told an International Criminal Court judge on Tuesday that he is innocent of charges ranging from murder and rape to using child soldiers.

"I was informed of these crimes but I plead not guilty" Ntaganda told the ICC, before being reminded by Ekaterina Trendafilova that a plea need not be entered yet. - Sapa-AFP
