Job Description: – The ideal candidates will be individuals with a minimum of 10 years professional (services, consulting, delivery, technical advisory or architect) experience.  The successful candidate will have a track record of creating C-Level relationships; have excellent presentation, project management, business-development oriented skills/mind-set as well as Oracle Database technology experience in addition to extra-strong SAP Technical background. – You will be joining a new team of SAP Technical specialists at an exciting time in the development of Engineered Systems solution stack at Oracle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•   Be the recognized EMEA expert and thought leader for Engineered Systems around the area of SAP

•   Maintain expert level knowledge of all Engineered Systems related products, market trends, future directions and competition especially having broader experience around in-memory solution is a BIG plus

•   Proactively work with Regional/Country Sales and Presales teams to discover, initiate and progress Engineered Systems projects and closely follow up on status, enable more people internally and externally technically being very much business, sales and business-development oriented

•   Ability to translate SAP customer's requirements into use cases for Oracle Engineered Systems solutions and help to create the right Information Management Architecture.

•   Coordinate and support Engineered Systems proof of value/concepts and pilot projects for SAP customers (SAP technical/BASIS hands-on skills, SAP migration skills, and all technical and OS/DB migration related certification is BIG plus)

•   Initiate, run and follow up on Business Development activities to grow the Oracle Engineered Systems business in EMEA having capability to collaborate and work together with Business-Development Management teas and corporate

•   Evangelize Oracle Engineered Systems solutions at SAP related marketing events.

•   Collaborate with SAP Partners/Integrators to identify Engineered Systems leads and opportunities

•   Collaborate with x-lob other EMEA teams (support, consulting, hardware, software, business intelligence) to lead and coordinate any SAP application related/involved Engineered Systems initiatives amongst the different teams

•   Develop and deliver high quality, customized SAP on Engineered Systems presentations and demonstrations to meet customer and partner needs for Engineered Systems related requirements

•   Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle Engineered Systems solutions very specific to SAP customers.

•   Prepare and deliver SAP customer and SAP partner/integrator visits, tech trainings, workshops and presentations.

•   Demonstrate a broad understanding of SAP on Oracle products/solution-stack across disciplines by articulating product features, benefits and competitive advantages (competitive info is BIG plus).

•   Assist with the co-ordination and delivery of sales and pre-sales enablement for Oracle in EMEA around SAP/Engineered Systems point

•   Write technical papers (white papers, competitive, technology, position papers, etc.)

REQUIRED SKILLS:

•   Ability to quickly establish credibility at CxO/Director level within customer organizations.

•   Subject matter of expert for SAP/Engineeed Systems initiatives in the whole region both externally and internally

•   SAP Technical consulting experience.

•   SAP BASIS/Technical system management

•   Sales awareness of available resources and win stories

•   1:1 Account Planning and ongoing deal activity support

•   Expert level knowledge of SAP NetWeaver staff (central services, APP services, migration steps – usage of  R3load and other pure Oracle migration tools such as TT or TD)

•   Solid understanding of Engineered Systems principles and Architectural requirements fully aligned with SAP part

•   A data science/business analytics background would be a benefit

•   Very strong presentation and technical skills.

•   Understanding of competitive landscape

•   A passion for learning new technologies fast.

•   Very strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification.

•   Fluency in English is required, Italian, Spanish, French, Russian, Polish, Arabic is a BIG plus

•   Successful Candidate will be expected to travel extensively throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa as part of their role.

•   Open to traveling abroad (sometimes 60-75% on-site activities with the customer)

Brief Description: Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

Detailed Description: As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Job Requirements: Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
