Job Title: Tender Contract Manager, Senior level – min 13yrs exp, Western Expats, Subsea Eng experience. Day-rate contract – 12 months -renew

Description:

• Managed technical/engineering subcontracts, construction services (EPC/M/I/F) contracts, purchase orders and frame agreements

• Prepare invitation to tender for EPC subsea facilities contract.

• Be Responsible for total package management from enquiry to closeout

• Preparation of project contracts plan

• Creation of contract strategy documents; pre-qualification / registration / evaluation of suppliers

• Prepare contract board submissions for issue of ITT's / RFQ's; compile bid / tender evaluation plan.

• Negotiate contractual and timescale conditions.

• Issue invitation to tenders / request for quotations and conducting sealed bid and shortlist meetings

• Conduct negotiations on price, contract terms and conditions / clarifications with suppliers / tender evaluation.

• Develop/prepare contract terms and conditions in accordance with international and local legislation.

• Prepare contract board submissions for contract award.

• Award contracts and purchase orders, amend contract / change orders / variation orders.

• Manage Post award contract / variations and develop contract management plans.

• Manage claims

This is for a Major operator, with a reputable local approved agent.

Required Skills/Experience:   

• Business Administration or Procurement or Engineering degree from university or equivalent,

• Good Understanding of local/International law, tax and other relevant regulations.

• Fluency in English mandatory (in negotiations and in writing),

• 13 years working experience in the oil and Gas Industry with at least 5years in Subsea Engineering.

• Must be willing to relocate to Nigeria within short notice

• Strong analytical and strategic skills
