Aston University offers master's scholarships for the students of Argentina, Colombia, Salvador, Jamaica, Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Bolivia, Cuba, Guyana, Nicaragua, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Panama, Chile, Ecuador, Honduras, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Surinam, Uruguay, USA and Venezuela. Three £5,000 scholarships are available for successful applicants entering any postgraduate full-time taught master's programmes (including the MBA programme) at Aston University. Applicants must hold a conditional or unconditional offer for a postgraduate full-time taught Master's programme commencing at Aston University in September 2013. Application should be submitted till 31st May 2013.

Eligibility: -If the applicant is currently completing their undergraduate Bachelors degree in another country (for example: UK, Canada, Australia), this scholarship is still open, provided the applicant is a national of, and is ordinarily resident in, one of the above named countries and is a full . -Priority will be given to applicants who have graduated or will be graduating from one of the partner universities within the Santander Universities network. -Applicants must hold a conditional or unconditional offer for a postgraduate full-time taught Masters programme commencing at Aston University in September 2013. -Applicants must hold a strong academic record, having been awarded or expected to complete with the equivalent of: -A minimum 2.1 / Upper Second classification in their undergraduate Bachelors degree in the UK. -A minimum GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0) in their undergraduate Bachelors degree from a overseas institution. -Applicants with an existing UK postgraduate qualification will not be eligible. -Applicants must also submit the following: -An application in the form of a 500 word essay outlining why they would benefit from the scholarship and the difference it would make to them as well as why they would be a suitable person to work with the International Office to share their experiences at the University and help promote Aston to future students. -Scanned copy of your passport showing your nationality. -Applicants must not be in receipt of a full fee scholarship from any other source. However, applicants may be eligible to apply for another partial tuition fee scholarship offered by Aston University. -Applicants must be deemed self-financing non-EU full overseas fee payers

Scholarship Open for International Students: The Applicants from Argentina, Colombia, Salvador, Jamaica, Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Bolivia, Cuba, Guyana, Nicaragua, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Panama, Chile, Ecuador, Honduras, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Surinam, Uruguay, USA and Venezuela can apply for this scholarship.

Scholarship Description: Three £5,000 scholarships are available for successful applicants entering any postgraduate full-time taught Masters programmes (including the MBA programme) at Aston University.

Terms and conditions: The successful scholars will be required to sign an agreement with the Aston University International Office to share their experiences of application, arrival, studying at Aston, lecturers and lectures, and student life. They will work with the International Office to provide information which can be used for promotional purposes, as well as regularly update a blog, which has to be created from the beginning of an academic year at Aston. The work will be used across the University including the School of study and the Development & Alumni Relations office.
