Description:

•Assist engineering staff with any drafting, artwork or manual preparation necessary in support of tenders, sales literature, contract documentation, training aids etc.

• Maintain comprehensive drawing office procedures including recording of drawing numbers, part numbers, and assembly numbers etc., so as to promote an efficient system of record keeping which avoids duplication and enables a unique reference to be maintained for each document.

• Provide any support necessary in the design, construction and testing of prototype products and materials.

As an AutoCAD Technician, your role will include the following duties:

• Able to demonstrate working knowledge of AutoCAD

• Ability to understand and produce drawings

• Able to organise and manage own workload with the minimum of supervision

• HND or University equivalent in Architecture experience within the construction or building industry would be a distinct advantage Responsible for processing/filing all incoming drawings in to the Drawing Office

• To produce 3D setting out drawings for stone column layouts and other ground improvement schemes

• To ensure as built drawings are produced in an efficient timely manner

• Ensure sketches and details are created as required

Remuneration: N1.2 M – N1.5M pa (depending on experience)
