Applications should include a detailed description of the PhD project (PhD proposal) that reflects and develops the overarching research question defined above. The purpose of the PhD proposal is to define the research question in greater detail, including linking the research question to relevant theory, research design and strategies of analysis. Successful applicants must participate in a DIIS-SDU PhD programme that over the 3-year period will train the candidate and embed the project in the overall project entitled Globality and Planetary Security. The programme involves PhD courses, seminars, participation in conferences and workshops as well as participation in DIIS policy-relevant applied research and teaching at SDU. Moreover, the successful candidate is expected to participate in and contribute to the research environment at DIIS and SDU.
Applications are invited from candidates with a Master’s degree.
Only candidates with top academic qualifications will be considered for enrolment.
