Psychologist To Join Kenya’s Bench

Harambee Stars coach Adel Amrouche has exclusively revealed to the Daily Nation that he intends to enlist the services of a psychologist a month before Kenya hosts the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a crucial 2014 World Cup return leg qualifier match.

The psychologist will help instill self-confidence in the players ahead of their match against the African champions.

This will be the first time the team will have a psychologist in the technical bench. Amrouche who has taken a low profile since masterminding a 1-1 draw in Calabar, Nigeria 11 days ago, believes Stars will be 'something big' under his care.

"Some of our preparations will target the minds of the players because we need to trust in ourselves. I can look for someone to assign that part," the Belgian said.
