Job Title: Senior Front End Process Engineer

Job Description:

• Propose, study, develop, evaluate, integrate, prepare preliminary delivery plans, and document project concept selection decisions for endorsement at DRB.

• Perform/Coordinate engineering studies to support key decision at the various development stages.

• Identify and Assess development uncertainties/risks, including HS&E and SD assessment, and propose mitigation plan.

• Plan and implement assurance process at key stages of the development in the form of Peer review or Integrated Functional Review (IFR).

• Plan and engage internal and external stakeholders.

• Support the Business Planning (BP) and Work Program and Budget (WP&B) exercise.

• Focus initially on Project opportunities, expected to cover other activities in the Project portfolio as required, from identify stage to BfD, including brownfield and greenfield opportunities, activities to include managing individual discipline engineering input and performing relevant discipline work as appropriate.

• Develop own skills and competence in line with changing business needs and the technical advances in the discipline through knowledge sharing with Team members, peers discipline Heads and members of other Project teams. Other roles and responsibilities include:

• Take part in Discipline activities in the Client's Technical and Operational Excellence Forums and Surface

• Global Networks to exchange knowledge, share best practice and improve global health of the discipline within EP

• Develop own skills and competence in line with changing business needs and technical advances in discipline.

• Evaluate and capture new knowledge and learning

• Review and challenge work method statement

• Coach and mentor subordinates and ensure that all members of the team have personal development plans and also receive coaching and mentoring.

• Participate in The client mentoring scheme for young graduates

Job Requirements:

• A university degree (or equivalent qualifications) in an engineering discipline, preferably Chemical/Mechanical Engineering), with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience.

• Skills in front-end engineering systems, tools and practices.

• Must be COREN registered/registrable.

• Have a working knowledge with UNISIM and Pipesim.

• Knowledge of project execution planning and economics.

• Conversant with Group and international oil and gas facilities design codes and standards

• Understanding of exploration and sub-surface works will be a clear advantage.

• Innovative thinking with technical, analytical and commercial business skills
