Minister, Mines and Steel Development expresses confidence in youths to be future players in the Mines and Steel sectors.

                        The Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Arc. Musa  Mohammed  Sada has expressed confidence that Nigerian  youths    can  turn  around  the  fortunes  of  the  country  in  the  nearest  future especially by being players in the Mines and Steel sectors.

He made  the  remark  in  his  office  in  Abuja  while  playing  host  to  the  National  Association  of  Katsina  State  Students.

Arc. Sada  who  expressed  appreciation  for  the  visit  noted   that  Nigerian  youths  are  quick  to  learn,  understand  and  appreciate  when  things  are  done  right   or  wrong  in  their  institutions  of  learning  and  the  larger  society.  He  added  that  through  this  approach,  the  youths  have  been  able  to  integrate  themselves  to   governance, business  and  the  social  political  landscapes   thereby  preparing  themselves  for  leadership  roles  and  responsibilities  after  graduation.

The  Minister  advised  that  the  trend  should  be  encouraged  and  sustained  among  Nigerian  youths.  He  advised  Nigerian  youths  to  cultivate  the  habit  of    learning  how  to   elect  credible  successors  to  replace  outgoing  executives   in  their  various  organizations  for  continuity   and  innovation.

On  the  association's  request  for  assistance  in  organizing  its  award  ceremony  and  National  Convention  in  May, 2013  the  Minister  assured  that  he  would  assist.

Arc. Sada  informed  the  youths  that  there  are  lots  of  investment  opportunities  in  the  nation's  minerals  and  metals  sector  that  they  could  tap  from  on  their  graduation,  assuring  that  they  would  be  highly  welcomed  and  supported.

He  added  that  the  minerals and metals  sector  is  knowledge  based,  exciting  and  challenging.

Speaking  earlier,  the  National  President, Katsina  State  Students  and  the  leader  of  the  delegation, Comrade  Ibrahim  Bello  Dabai  said  that  the  essence  of  the  visit  was  to  appreciate  Arc. Musa  Mohammed  Sada  for  his  assistance  to  Katsina  State  Students  and  to  seek  his  assistance  in  their  award  ceremony  to  distinguished  sons  and  daughters  of  Katsina  State  and  their  National  Convention  scheduled  for  May,  2013.
