Super Eagles Don't Need Distractions Now - Chukwu To Keshi, Yobo

Christian Chukwu, MFR, has posited that the raging war of words between Super Eagles head coach, Stephen Keshi and captain Joseph Yobo amounts to distraction which the senior national team does not need at the moment.

"If there is anything the national team should avoid now I think its distraction", Chukwu observed.

"We should concentrate and focus on how we can prepare well and qualify for the World Cup in 2014 and not allow the issue of who is right in inviting players or who is not invited.

"These are mere distractions which we should not allow because a house divided against itself cannot stand", Chukwu warned.

Super Eagles head coach Stephen Keshi has been at daggers-drawn with his captain Joseph Yobo over invitation and invitation to camp ahead the June World Cup qualifiers and FIFA Confederation Cup matches in Brazil.
