Ogun State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Arch Olamilekan Adegbite has described as untrue and mischievous, the lopsided report of a particular news medium on the various roads construction going on in Sagamu, re-affirming that contactors had commenced works on the sites since November 2012.

Adegbite, who disclosed this while responding to questions from lawmakers on the state of road construction in the State, listed roads being constructed in the area to include Benin- Sagamu Express junction, Isale- Oko-Sabo/ Odelemo junction and Kara-Oba Erinwole at the tail end of Erinwole, on the way to Ikorodu.     He also said the work done on the road was far beyond the N2billion so far paid by government, insisting that already, a flyover bridge (grade separation) at Ode Lemo junction and a 500 metre drainage work on both sides stretching beyond the RSS junction amongst others had been done.  According to the Commissioner, the contractors were not paid until last February, saying that taking just a particular portion to generalize the situation of the road project smirks of mischief on the part of the news medium involved.

Wow! That road must be the baddest road in Nigeria. There must be so many things to repair. Too bad!
