Job Title: Maintenance Control Centre (MCC) Engineer (Boeing & Bombardier Narrowbody)

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Organisation: Arik Air Limited

Job Summary: Provide safe and compliant aircraft maintenance activities for the Arik fleet.

Job Description:   

•      Comply with all Arik Air and Regulatory Authority Requirements including airport authority

•      Report issues of unsafe or non-standard practices to higher authority

•      Seek improvements to Arik Practices and Procedures and provide feedback

•      Train and mentor local Engineering staff – sharing of best practice at all levels

•      Perform other duties as appropriate and within their competence as required from time to time

Required skill set & Qualification:   

• Must have a minimum of 5 years as Licensed Engineer with approvals on Arik fleets

• Must have a minimum of 10 years as EASA approved Part 66 B1 and or B2 Licensed

• Extensive experience line/base maintenance

• Effective communication and team building skills

• Good understanding of cultural issues

• Personal Qualities eg, ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision, flexible, creative.

• Ensure approvals/license and qualifications are maintained to Arik standards at all times
