Roles and responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the set up of systems for measuring contract performance

2. Serve as point of contact with NERC, IPPs, Distributors, the MO and the SO on commercial, planning and market design issues

3. Responsible for establishing efficient internal processes for contract management and ensuring that contract control procedures are of internationally accepted standards

4. Forecast electricity loads and prices for trading and electricity supply using statistical techniques

5. Responsible for implementing and administering portfolio risk metrics, including but not limited to value-at-risk of trading risks and position limits

6. Analyze energy positions and projects from market risk perspective

7. Maintain relationships and trade with the Company's trading counterparties

8. Provide technical and advanced quantitative methods in support of portfolio optimization, trading and risk & control functions

9. Stress testing and simulations of portfolio profits and losses

10. Support technical and regulatory operations of the firm, including compliance market rules compliance,

Skill set:

1. A First degree in Engineering and a post graduate degree in Law, Business related degree or Engineering will be an added advantage

2. At least 12 years relevant experience with 5 years experien
