NFF Can’t Compel Us To Sell Mba To Rangers – Warri Wolves Official

Officials of Warri Wolves FC have told the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) that they would not be coerced into selling Sunday Mba to Rangers International of Enugu.

The officials are threatening that they would not hesitate to take the matter to the Court of Arbitration on Sports in Laussane , Switzerland, should the football federation fails to rule in its favour when it gives its verdict in few days time.

The NFF is expected to make a pronouncement on the matter in a week time.

Delta State Sports Commission boss, Pinnick Amaju, said on Thursday in Abuja that the NFF will not rule otherwise since the player is a bonafide player of Warri Wolves.

Pinnick pointed out that the NFF cannot dictate to them who they will do business with should the player status is decided in favourof Wolves, pointing out that the NFF can only appeal to Wolves and not coerce it.

"We expect that the NFF will make pronouncement about who owns Sunday Mbah. And we are certain that he is our player. But if the NFF decided otherwise, we expect that it will get to CAS, but mind you there is something called Nigerian factor," he said, alluding to the likelihood of the matter being settled at top level of government.

The Warri Wolves official is extremely right. They have the right to sell Sunday Mba to whatever club that pleases them. Good one!
