Job Title: HSE Advisor  

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Company: ONSTREAM Group

Specific Activities:

•   performing at least twice a day regular site workplace and workshop tours to monitor HSE performance,

•   coordinating construction activities to comply with all relevant Company HSE rules and requirements,

•   supervising and coordinate the Project HSE inspectors at site,

•   ensuring efficient communication with Contractor HSE Leader on the implementation of Project HSE requirements and issue,

•   stopping any unsafe operation and situation and report immediately to Contractor HSE Leader and Site Representative,

•   implementing, monitor and report corrective actions at site,

•   conducting regular HSE coordination meetings and safety tours at site,

•   conducting Job Safety Analysis meeting with key personnel's for major or critical task of the project

•   providing regular HSE reports on site surveys and inspections,

•   performing HSE training as per Project requirements,

•   implementing safety campaigns and safety initiatives,

•   promoting application of CLIENT'S policies, rules, procedures, General Specifications and Project procedures,

•   being proactive in anticipating events or Contractor's problems which may affect the successful completion of the Project objectives and inform Structure Supervisor and Site Representative, attending Project meetings as and when required

Job Requirements

Qualification: Relevant degree and further HSE education

Professional Experience (number of years): 10

Experience with yard operation (number of years): 5
