NFF Bars Agents From Golden Eaglets Camp

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) wants total concentration for the country's U-17 team and has for the umpteenth time warned unscrupulous persons parading themselves as soccer agents from distracting the Golden Eaglets.

Scores of agents have descended in Morocco particularly Marrakech, to pluck new cash cows but the NFF has stated unequivocally that they would not have access to the Nigerian youngsters.

''For the avoidance of doubt, we won't allow any agent to speak to any of our players here," Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, the Director of Competitions at the NFF said. ''We didn't allow any agent to talk to Under-20 during the AYC in Algeria talk less of allowing them access to the Eaglets.

Minors are expected to sign professional contracts in company of either their parents or guardians so that agents don't take undue advantage hence the riot act from the NFF.

''We don't want to see any agent around our players and I'm going to enforce this because we don't want any distraction" he warned.

Meanwhile, Nigeria's Ambassador to Morocco, Senator Adallah Wali has commended the Eaglets for their exemplary conduct at the competition. I'm quite impressed with the conduct of the team," Senator Wali said.

This agents should take things easy until the competition is entirely over. They really do nt have to rush things at all.
