Australian National University is offering number of scholarships for Doctor of Philosophy or Professional Doctorate by research in all fields of study. Australian and New Zealand citizen, permanent residents of Australia and international students are eligible for these scholarships. Total offer is of A$23,728 (2013 rate) per annum tax free, in fortnightly payments. International students should submit the application till 31^st August and Domestic Students till 31^st October.

Scholarship Description: The University funds a number of scholarships for Doctor of Philosophy or Professional Doctorate by research. A scholar who is resident elsewhere in Australia or who is permanently residing outside Australia at the time of application, is eligible to receive the following contributions towards the costs of moving to Canberra to take up the Scholarship. Applicants are also strongly encouraged to make contact with the relevant Graduate Studies Convener or a prospective supervisor, prior to lodging an application, to discuss the proposed research topic and related matters.

Duration of award(s): Scholarship is offered for three years full-time, with a possible six-month extension
