Ghana Friendly Will Help Us Beat Eagles - Kenya Coach

Harambee Stars of Kenya head coach, Adel Hamrouche says his side's planned friendly against the Black Stars of Ghana will be a good preparation for the two 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Malawi next month.

The Stars were held to a one all draw by African Champions Nigeria, in March, in what was Amrouche's first official game in charge of the East Africans. The return leg is scheduled for the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani, in June, with Harambee Stars expected to travel to Blantyre to keep a date with the Flames.

Hamrouche said after the friendly with Ghana was confirmed, that it will be a good test for his side as they look to secure a place in the next round of the World Cup qualifiers.

'' Ghana are one of the best teams in Africa and it will be good to play them ahead of our two qualifying fixtures" he begins.

''It's going to be a good test for the players who gave their all in our last game against Nigeria, who are the current African Champions.

''We will approach the game with all seriousness as it will give us the confidence to win the two qualifiers ahead of us" he concluded.

The friendly will be played in Nairobi where Ghana will be camping on June 1.The Black Stars will play Sudan on June 8 in Khartoum and fly back to Nairobi to continue preparations for their next qualifier.
