Erstwhile Super Eagles striker,Dimeji Lawal, has labelled former teammate, the late Rashidi Yekini as a down to earth person.
.
The former Real Madrid of Spain star opined that, the Eagles goal king will be remembered for his unique attitude of putting smiles on peoples' faces. Lawal, added that Yekini's death should be a lesson to all. "Yekini was no doubt a down to earth person " he begins'.
.
"One unique attribute or rather human quality of Rashidi Yekini, was making people laugh and happy through cracking of jokes and funny conversations. If you were close to him, the way and manner he talked and played was enough to make you crack your ribs with laughter. He was a very honest and transparent person who didn't have time to keep malice with anybody, And a lesson to all the upcoming footballers.

He however doubted the former Vitória Setúbal of Portugal forward's goalscoring feat for club and country could ever be met.
