ICC postpones trial of Kenya’s Ruto

THE HAGUE - The International Criminal Court has delayed the trial of Kenyan deputy president William Ruto pending further hearings with the prosecution and the defence, it said on Monday.

The trial of Ruto, who is accused of orchestrating the post-election violence in Kenya just over five years ago, alongside Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, had been due to begin on May 28.  - Reuters
