High Court Judge Absolved Of Plot To Kill Mother

Justice Adeniyi Adebajo of a Lagos High Court and three of his siblings accused of attempt to kill their mother, Mrs. Irene Adebajo, has been absolved of any criminality by the police.

The judge, sitting at the criminal division of the state High Court, was accused alongside his two siblings, Gboyega and Wemimo, in several petitions allegedly signed by their mother, and some NGOs to have planned to "assault, brutalise, harass and threatening the life" of the octogenarian to inherit her property.

Investigations also revealed that the petitions were written due to disagreements between the children of the aged woman, Princess Gloria Adebajo Fraser, who was accused by the judge and others of taking custody of their mother because of her state of health, without the consent of family members.
