Job Title: Financial Accounting Manager

Job Location: Nigeria (Lagos/Warri)

Purpose; Activities and Responsibilities; and Education and Experience:

•   To manage NEL Financial accounting and statutory reporting process. To lead the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) implementation team and provide various reports to Shareholders, the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee as necessary.

•   Prepare and manage all accounting inputs into the month end close and reporting cycles whilst adhering to the strictest deadlines.

•   Responsible for timely and accurate reporting to management (and lending institutions). Complement the CFO in preparing financial reporting to shareholders.

•   Responsible for annual statutory reporting and preparation of financial statements. Implement and fully maintain full compliance with IFRS international standards.

•   Expert in financial reporting and controls in the Upstream Oil & Gas Industry. Ability to work with customers at all levels up to the Board.

•   Must be a qualified accountant with at least 7-10 years work experience in Upstream Oil & gas
