Emmanuel Emenike, Nigerian international and Spartak Moscow striker, has promised a $50,000 reward to the Super Eagles if they qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. In the 2014 World Cup qualifying games in which Nigeria is grouped with Malawi, Kenya and Namibia, Nigeria is ahead of the pack with five points from three matches. Emenike, who is out of next month's World Cup qualifiers in Kenya and Namibia due to recent injury to his knee, says he has been a Super Eagles fan long before he debuted for Nigeria in 2011 against Sierra Leone in Lagos. The footballer maintains that he has promised to give out a $50,000 reward if they secured the World Cup qualification in 2014, according to MTNFootball.com Emenike says he is doing this to boost the team as it is a team that can make Nigeria very proud and this is the only way he can show support for the Super Eagles. "I am really behind the team. I don't want them to miss me because there are other players who can get them the goals."
