Prof. Chukwu Bags Award of Excellence

Minister of Health, Prof.C.O.Onyebuchi Chukwu has received an award of excellence for his outstanding performance in the health sector.

Presenting the award to the Minister in Abuja today, Dev Suman Sharma, Head of operation Intermaphama Pharmaceuticals Limited said that the award to the Minister was informed by his immense contribution to the health sector adding that his stewardship and style of leadership at the Federal Ministry of Health has improved healthcare delivery in the country.

He assured that Interpharma Pharmaceuticals will continue to give Nigerians the best healthcare at affordable price.

Receiving the award on behalf of the Minister, Mrs.Mary Okpesheyi, Director of Food and Drugs in the Ministry enumerated some of the achievements of the Minister since he assumed office at Ministry to include among others launching of drug distribution guidelines which has sanitized drug distribution process in the country, strengthening of drug supply chain management and patronage of local drug manufacturers.
