Job Title: Accountant

JOB SPECIFICATION:

•   Maintain the schedule of daily bank balances.

•   Carrying out Monthly Bank reconciliation.

•   Tracking bank charges and following up on wrong deductions from the bank.

•   Run cash flow projection when required.

•   Preparation of ledger accounts.

•   Carrying out of inventory control and management.

•   Preparation of draft budgets at different levels

•   Ensure effective cash management, internal control, tax and statutory compliance

•   Maintain and update monthly payroll Monitoring the balances on the staff and vendors advances on daily basis and ensure complete liquidation;

PERSON SPECIFICATION

The ideal candidate must possess the following.

•   B.Sc. / HND in Accounting or any numerate field (ACCA/ICAN Membership is an added advantage

•   Must be able to work alone with minimal supervision.

•   Be able to design and implement internal control system.

•   Should be able to maintain company financial records including management reports

•   Possession of auditing experience will be an added advantage.

•   Must have at least 2 – 3 years post NYSC working experience.

•   Must be able to prepare ledger accounts to final accounts for Management use and External Auditors use.

•   Must possess good analytical skills, good communication skills, neat, dynamic and intelligent.

•   Excellent command of English language

•   Good presentation skills

•   Excellent computer skills.

•   Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

•   Must be hardworking and honest
