Harambee Stars of Kenya playmaker, Francis Kahata is confident of replicating his goal scoring performance against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, when both sides clash in the return leg of the FIFA 2014 World Cup qualifiers next month.

The little-known Thika United of Kenya star became a national celebrity overnight in March, when he scored a sublime free kick to help Kenya force a famous draw against the three time Africa Champions in Calabar.

Kahata opined that he is back to his best form and looking forward to a successful outing with the Harambee Stars in the game against the coach Stephen Keshi led side next month.

"I suffered a blip in form, and that is normal. I have been working hard and I'm happy that I'm getting back to my best," he said.

"My performance in that game against the reigning African champions is just a little of what I can do but I"m certain of inflicting more pains on the Super Eagles in front of our home fans next month.

Having scored all of his club's goals in their stirring 2-1 league win against champions, Tusker, at Thika Municipal Stadium, Club coach John Kamau, has challenged the youngster to improve more on his game.

In no uncertain terms, he let rip at the Kenyan international, " he needs to do more, his form is wanting if he really wants to get to the play at the top".

The Harambee Stars will take on the Super Eagles on June 8 at the Moi International Sports Centre, Nairobi, having played a 1-1 draw in Calabar.
