The Chief Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre, Ido Ekiti, Dr. Lawrence Ayodele, has said the quality of medical services the hospital will render in its outreach will not be different from what it is doing at Ido Ekiti.

Ayodele said this at a press conference in Ido Ekiti on Friday.

He said the hospial now had another outreach at Ise Ekiti in order to be closer to the people at the southern senatorial district of the state.

He said, "We now have another outreach at Ise Ekiti for community dental practice. Other community-related services will be rendered there and I can assure you that the quality will not be different from what we render here."

Ayodele said the FMC, had been growing and endearing itself to those who had cause to visit the institution despite spurious allegations against him and other top members of the management of the hospital.

He urged the public to discountenance such allegations, saying the Federal Ministry of Health was aware of the desperation of some people he described as unscrupulous to bring down the centre.

Speaking on the School of Nursing, which is the baby of the centre, Ayodele said he ordered the cancellation of the screening examination of the school after it was discovered that the examination had leaked.

He, however, said the second examination did not leak, saying just 50 best students would be indexed by the Nigeria Nursing Council.
