PDP reconciliation exercise still on says Annenih, BoT chairman.

                        The chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Anenih has said that  the  reconciliation effort  of the party to bring back aggrieved members to the fold was still  ongoing.

While speaking to newsmen after a private visit to the Abia State Governor, Chief Theodore Orji, he said that the effort was necessary to hear out those who were aggrieved and find ways to bring them back to the first and largest party in the country.

He said that the PDP is a large family and like all big families, there  are bound to be some misunderstandings between them, from time to time but  what is important is for them to be resolved.

On his assessment of Governor Orji, he said he has performed creditably well; adding that he was in the State to appreciate him.  "I am here on private visit to appreciate the Governor of Abia State for the good work he is doing and how he has touched the lives of the people", he said.

Chief Orji has performed, he has  united  the party in the State  as one, indivisible family.  He is a shining example like a shining star in a very dark   night.

The BoT chairman has been visiting PDP   State chapters through out the country to reconcile members of the party who have either left  or on the verge of doing so.

The reconciliation should happen faster than it's happening now. That is not what we really need right now in political parties.
