Gov. Fashola's Promise to NUT over Strike

The Lagos state governor, Gov. Babatunde Fashola has promised the teachers and students that the industrial action by the Nigeria Union of Teachers will soon come to an end.

He made the promise while speaking to journalists after his return from a two week trip abroad. He said the demands of the teachers are legitimate but there are other challenging issues that need urgent attention in the education sector.
