PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

As a key member of the COO's office for Services, the Chief of Staff will assist in planning, coordination and communication of business processes within and beyond the Board area. This role reports directly to the COO for Global Services.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Liaise directly with global and regional Services leadership teams.

• Develop a close working relationship with other board areas, understanding dependencies and cultivating collaborative working relationships

• Partner with other COO teams within and outside of Services, and help streamline processes

• Manage complex projects resulting in high quality deliverables and actionable insights as necessary

• Work closely with the COO and his team on a daily basis in managing internal and external meetings including agenda setting, meeting content and action item tracking; ensuring that expected results are documented and followed up

• Create presentations for internal meetings (Leadership Meetings, Meeting with Executives, etc.), and external meetings (Customers, Partner, Analysts, etc.)

• Coordinate shared activities across the office of the COO

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Deep analytical experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Passion for consumer internet and social media

• Track record of working independently, being highly detail-oriented, and delivering results in a greatly organized manner

• Very comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, and start-up environment

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with and among senior executives

• Great understanding of the SAP Portfolio and SAP organization

• BA degree (or equivalent) required from accredited university; MBA preferred

• Fluency in English, any other language an asset

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of work experience

• Track record of success in strategic and operational projects

• Demonstrated teamwork and relationship-building skills

• Successful experience developing communications: verbal and presentation formats, synthesizing complex information to speak effectively to different

• Prior consulting, sales, project management, business operations experience preferred

• Demonstrated success in dealing with complex organization relationships; history of achieving objectives through personal influence in addition to direct control

• Flexible to occasional long hours/fast-paced
