Desmond Elliot and Uche Jombo have produced a flick they have described as the biggest movie project of their careers. Speaking on the movie, Desmond said the combination of resources and expertise has led to what he called an exciting outcome: "I am so excited about this that I can't wait for its release date.

I am releasing to DVD direct. In over a decade of being in the industry, I've done a number of movies but this stands out. It's a classic comedy with the right elements, dialogue and characterization. "Without prejudice to any of my past works, this movie is the biggest I've done and with all due respect, it should be the biggest comic movie out of Nollywood in recent times," he boasted.

Uche Jombo, who doubles as Producer and Executive Producer, said putting the movie together was a business risk but hopes it pays-off: "When I got the script from Mr. Patrick, one thing was clear, the story would be like eating rice without stew if the special effects are not done right so we went all the way. The special effect is something people should watch out for and I am also proud of the story which is very funny."

The Place: Chronicle of The Book, was written by comedian, Mr. Patrick and it is the story of a book stolen from The Place by an evil man. It is a race against time as the book needs to be retrieved before the evil man destroys the world. Who will save the world from destruction? Two unlikely heroes, Bishop Imeh and Mr. Patrick decide to be the heroes. Produced jointly by Uche Jombo Studios and Denziot Production, The Place will be released directly to DVD on June 3 nationwide. The Place stars, Desmond Elliot, Uche Jombo, Gordons, Mr. Patrick Onyeka, Bishop Ime-Umoh, Jude Orhorha, Ruth Kadiri and Helen Paul.
