Harambee Stars head coach Adel Amrouche has shrugged off allegations that he is under pressure to win the upcoming fixture against the Super Eagles of Nigeria slated for June 5 at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.
.
"There is no pressure at all. I came to build the team and instill motivation and good spirit to the players," he starts.
.
"We are working for victory and we are focused on the Nigeria match and doing all the best to win it as well as focusing on the future to fulfill our objectives," he remarks.
.
Speaking to the press, Adel thanked the media for enhancing good contact and building positives around the team, just as he congratulates the Football Kenya Federation's Friends of Harambee Stars' campaign dubbed 'Mbao for Bao'.
.
"Credit to the media for doing their best in building positives and good contact around the national team; this is the kind of support we need," he posits.
.
Meanwhile, he has also revealed that he is yet to officially release his list of overseas-based players who will link up with the rest of the team in Nairobi ahead of the forthcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying matches in June.
.
"You cannot buy fish that is in the sea. You only bank on the one you have seen on the shore. So for me, I will first give priority to the locally based players and those that I have been able to monitor," Amrouche states.
