Description:

•   Our client, a European IOC with assets in Africa is seeking experienced Purchasing Officer to perform procurement activities; by receiving requests, talking to vendors, examining price suitability, comparing specifications and receiving alternative bids to fulfil affirmative action, value analysis and other objectives.

•   Maintain records on vendor service levels, buying turns and evaluate vendor efficiency.

•   Procurement of goods and services of the required quality at the lowest cost in accordance with the project requirements and within the scheduled limits.

Qualifications/Experience:

•   Bachelors Degree (preferably in Engineering or Business Management)

•   Minimum of 5 years' experience in Procurement (Project procurement in an EPC/ Oil & Gas environment).

•   Proficient in MS Office / SAP
