Job Description:   

• To apply medical knowledge and skills to the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of illnesses.

• To provide primary and continuing medical care for patients by taking account of physical, psychological and social factors when diagnosing illness and recommending the required treatment

• To work alongside other allied health care professionals to discuss care options for patients and their families.

Job Requirement   

• Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat patients

• Knowledge of human behaviour and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioural and affective disorders

• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services

• A good degree in Medicine (MBBS) from a recognized university and also recognized by Nigeria Medical Association (NMA)

• Minimum of 4 years post graduate experience in a similar position.

• Post – graduate degree or professional qualification will be an added advantage

• A good knowledge of current medical practices/trends will be of immense value

• Good communication and people skills.
