Michael Jackson’s daughter attempts suicide

Paris, the only daughter of late pop star, Michael Jackson, is currently in a Los Angeles hospital following an attempted suicide.

Paramedics were called to the Jackson family home in Calabasas, California, after the teenager reportedly   cut her wrists after posting cryptic messages on her Twitter page.

Reports however claimed  her  injuries are  not   life threatening.

A family source  said Paris was under a kind of stress.

"She's suffered with the loss of her father. But we don't know what she was exposed to that precipitated this," he added.

Last night,  Paris had posted some cryptic messages on her Twitter page.

Referencing The Beatles' song "Yesterday", she wrote: "Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay."

She earlier tweeted: "I wonder why tears are salty?"

This month was set to be tough for Paris as the fourth anniversary of her father's death comes on 25 June.
