Job Purpose:

•   The primary goal of the Program Officer (fundraising) is to develop and implement a fundraising strategy to solicit and secure revenue for our foundation and also market our training programs to organisation in order to generate fund for our programs/projects.

•   Our various programs/projects are in the area of disaster relief and Management, education, Gender based violence, Development of local Communities, Healthcare and international development.

•   One of the major role will be to market our various trainings to potentials clients, this will require someone who is very hardworking, confident and resilient.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•   Develop fundraising strategy and setting priorities, goals and budget

•   Research and identify potential donors

•   Cultivate potential donors and communicate effectively with current donors

•   Writing proposals to obtain grants and preparing presentations to deliver to potential donors and key stakeholders

•   Maintain donors database

•   Market our training programs to companies as a result of raising fund for our various program

•   Direct and manage seminars, training, conferences development from beginning to end.

•   Contribute to the design and implementation of program policy.

•   Conceptualize, write, present and draft proposal on selected program issues; design and convene seminars, workshops and conferences

•   Strategically think and plan for development of program direction and initiatives

•   Contribute to the foundation's overall vision and mission of the foundation.

•   Develop new initiatives and ideas of raising funds

•   Develop customized training programs for organization
