Job Title: Security Site Representative

Location: Warri, Nigeria

Job Summary: This role is responsible for the development, implementation, validation, exercise and management of physical and technical security protection programs and procedures. This role will protect business personnel and Capital assets, serves as the Host Nation Liaison, develops and implements security limited scope performance testing programs, national employee development and all associated security initiatives to protect shore-side facilities, terminal areas, maritime exclusion zones, work boats transit and platform assets, business operations, production storage areas and company housing.

Primary responsibilities:

•   Development, implementation and maintenance of industry-best security plans.

•   Conduct and oversee periodic internal security self-assessments.

•   Global Security and Host Nation-Meet quarterly with Host Nation officials to discuss site security progress.

•   Update joint short timeline emergency response plans and procedures with Host Nation.

•   Coordinate / implement the evacuation plan as needed.

•   Develop and maintain a barrier protection plan.

•   Develop and maintain vehicular and personnel access control procedures including Random Anti-Terrorism search measures.

•   Interface with Host State Naval authorities.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

•   The desired candidate will be a business-savvy physical security manager who excels at managing large numbers of people through supervisors and who also excels at managing multi-million dollar budgets.

•   Candidates will demonstrate leadership experience that qualifies them to provide direction to expatriate staff.

•   Intimate knowledge of graded protection programs.

•   Intimate knowledge of Security Vulnerability Assessment programs.

•   Ability to accurately and efficiently document all plans, procedures and findings.

•   Highly articulate and will have outstanding written communication skills.

•   Intimate knowledge of security limited scope performance testing programs.

•   Knowledge of Site Security plan development and implementation.

•   Knowledge of Security Event Response Plan development and implementation.

•   Knowledge of international oil & gas, upstream exploration or international refining operations is strongly preferred.

•   Experience with security systems (Intrusion Detection Systems, CCTV, Duress, Lenel Access Control, Multi-Site Loss Prevention), etc.

•   Candidates who have prior military / international law enforcement background combined with more recent corporate security experience are appreciated.

•   This position will interface directly with Cabinet level government officials regularly so professionalism, cultural sensitivity, patience and understanding are a must.

•   The person selected will have to build relationships with government officials intimately involved in our client's operations.

•   A CPP designation is appreciated. •   Certification in Facility Security Officer Protection, Office of Infrastructure Protection, Critical Infrastructure Protection Specialist (Incident Command System), Master Anti-Terrorism Specialist Certification.
