£8.5m Nani Too Expensive For Galatasaray

Galatasaray claim they have been priced out of a move for Nani after Manchester United demanded £8.5million for the out-of-favour winger.

The former Sporting Lisbon man found himself out in the cold under Sir Alex Ferguson following a contract wrangle last summer, and it's believed new manager David Moyes is ready to ship him out.

However, Galatasaray claim they've withdrawn their interest in the Portuguese international after United refused their opening offer.

The Turkish club's chairman, Unal Aysal, said: 'We offered €7million (£6m) for him. But they didn't accept. We can't give more than this.

'We are not going to follow Nani anymore. We can't give more than €7m for him.
.
'They want €10million (£8.5million). Because of this he is not on our transfer list anymore.' United have since denied receiving any offer from the Super Lig side.

Nani has just one year remaining on his Old Trafford contract and will be free to discuss terms with interested clubs from January 2014.
