Horus Development Finance has been working for 15 years in consulting for microfinance institutions (MFIs) in partnership with large international donors (World Bank, AFD, KfW). Over the last years, Horus has been involved in the creation of MFIs in Africa and Asia. In the upcoming 5 years, more than 10 new institutions will be created (Advans Group), for which Horus is among other things responsible for the implementation of the Management Information System.

Background:
Together with several Development finance institutions (EIB, KfW, FMO, AFD, IFC, CDC), Horus created Advans, a network of financial institutions in developing and emerging countries (Asia & Africa) offering financial services to micro, small and medium sized enterprises (MSMEs).

Tasks and Responsibilities:
•   Assist the COO in: the commercial operations of Advans Nigeria; the organization of market studies, the definition and implementation of new financial products; the supervision of the branch network's expansion in the country; the setting up of the required organization, policies and processes in order to achieve the operational objectives defined in the Business Plan; the achievement of the Business Plan;
•   In accordance with Horus's mandate, and with the Chief Operating Officer's support, the Deputy COO of Advans Nigeria will participate in commercials teams' recruitment and training.

Qualifications:
•   Degree in management/accounting/finance;
•   Fluency in English, reading and understanding French is appreciated;
•   At least 3 years' experience, including an experience in an operational job within a financial institution or a development program;
•   Experience in microfinance, especially in credit methodology;
•   Rigorous, analytical, with management and organizational skills;
•   Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and conflict management skills.
