UNILAG ANNOUNCES ADMISSION INTO PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT & ADVANCED PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT FOR 2013/2014 ACADEMIC SESSION (PART-TIME, SATURDAYS ONLY)

UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS, HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT CENTRE, IN COLLABORATION WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS AND PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCES ADMISSION INTO (i) PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT, (ii) ADVANCED PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT FOR 2013/2014 ACADEMIC SESSION (PART-TIME, SATURDAYS ONLY)

The Human Resources Development Centre in collaboration with the Department of Industrial Relations and Personnel Management invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the part-time Professional Diploma Programme in Human Resources Management and Advanced Professional Diploma in Human Resources Management.

PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT

TARGET AUDIENCE
*Supervisors and Administrative Staff, Middle and Junior Level Managers.
*Interested Members of the Public.

DURATION: 9 Months (Saturdays Only) Two Semesters

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
*Holders of SSC/GCE or Equivalent with at least 5 passes including credit in English Language at not more than two (2) sittings.
*Holders of relevant professional qualifications from recognized institutions.
*Mature Candidates above 30 years of age with at least five (5) years experience may apply.

COURSE FEES: Tuition: #50, 000.00, Course Materials: #7, 000. 00

ADVANCED PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT

TERGET AUDIENCE

Top level Managers, Political Leaders, Local Government Officials, Religious Leaders, Proprietors/Business Men and women, Human Resource Managers (HRMs), Administrative Officers and those in other field-of endeavour who may be involved in personnel areas and mature individuals who desire to know how to win with people.

DURATION: 9 Months (Saturdays Only) Two Semesters

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
*Holders of B.Sc/HND/OND/NCE in any discipline
*Holders of Diploma in Human Resource Management of the University of Lagos
*Holders of Higher Qualification
*Mature Company-Sponsored candidates who are above 30 years of age with at least five (5) years experience from private, public and other sectors may apply subject to selection criteria to be adopted by the programme committee.

COURSE FEES:
Tuition: #65,000.00, Course Materials: #7, 000.00
LECTURE VENUE: Faculty of Business Administration, Main Campus, Akoka.
COMMENCEMENT DATE: 8th July, 2013.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
GUIDELINES FOR COMPLETING THE APPLICATION FORM:
1.       Visit the Human Resources Development Centre Portal (hrdc.unilag.edu.ng)
Click on the "Application Form"
2.       Click the pre-application form link; provide the required information and submit to obtain a Payment Reference Number (Voucher). Candidate are expected to print out the Payment Reference Number (voucher) and take it to the bank for payment of five thousand naira (#5, 000.00) which is the cost of Application Form.

3.       Make payment at any branch of the designated banks stated below:
WEMA BANK PLC, ECO BANK PLC, ACCESS BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC at the University of Lagos Branches only.
4.       After payment, return to Human Resources Development Centre Portal (hrdc.unilag.edu.ng). Click the Application link, then Application Form Link, login with Payment Reference Number as usernameand provide surname in lowercase as password.
5.       Click the Edit Application form link to fill the Application form and upload digital passport (jpeg format) which should not be more than 15kb in size and must be in white background. The acceptable dimension is: width-235 pixels or 35mm, height-314 pixels or 40mm (Failure to comply with specified image format may lead to disqualification).
6.       Click "SUBMIT FORM" button after filling the form completely; else click "DECLINE" button.
After submission, applicants are required to print the completed Application Form for submission at the Human Resources Development Centre Secretariat.
              Submit the printed form along with two (2) sets of your Credentials.

NOTE:
Kindly note that if payment is not made five (5) days after obtaining Payment Reference Number (voucher), the pre-application would be "DECLINED". Applicants will then be expected to refill the pre-application form to obtain a new Payment Reference Number (voucher).

SUBMISSION OF FORM AND COLLECTION OF ADMISSION LETTER

Completed application forms are to be submitted at the Human Resources Development Centre not later than three weeks from the date of this publication. Admission Letters for shortlisted candidates are to be collected from the same office.

Letters of Admission will not be posted to individual candidate. The admission list will be available on Human Resources Development Centre Portal (hrdc.unilag.edu.ng) and University of Lagos website.
