My leading client, a secure ever expanding exploitation and production company in West Africa are urgently seeking a technical and performance driven, hands on senior drilling engineer.

You will have to show the ability to possess extensive knowledge in well operations. The successful Senior Drilling Engineer- will become a key member of the Drilling Team for preparing and delivering wells on the company's expanding assets.

The Scope:

•   B.Sc. Degree in Engineering discipline.

•   7-10 years well engineering experience

•   Well site supervisory experience

•   Valid supervisor level well control certificate

•   Knowledge in horizontal & mud engineering, well testing.

Nice to have:

•   Levels of understanding of the requirements and performance field studies as field developments planning, material balance, etc.

•   Demonstration of ability to be team player and mentor skills

•   Level of adherence to timeless and accuracy of data provided for analysis.

•   Well construction technology and operational knowledge

Job Duties:

•   Lead on the location , set up and maintain operational base

•   Identify and organize well operations files

•   Prepare the well engineering aspects of well proposals

•   Prepare and maintain the wells basis of the design/programs

•   Provide technical input to bids for services and equipment

•   Provide technical input to tender reviews as necessary

•   Prepare AFE's

•   Complete cost reconciliation the end of all wells.

•   To direct junior well engineers working on projects.
