FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC, OKO, ANAMBRA 2013/2014 POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE

POST UTME ADMISSSION SCREENING TEST

This is to inform all candidates who obtained a score of 150 and above in the 2013/2014 UTME examination conducted by JAMB, and chose Federal Polytechnic Oko as their first and/or second choice institution, that the Post-UTME Admission screening exercise will commence on Monday, 26th August, 2013.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Eligible candidates for the Post-UTME screening test are required to obtain forms from any of the prescribed banks nationwide at a fee of N1000.00 (one thousand naira) only.

THE BANKS ARE:
i. Access bank Plc. v. Union Bank Plc
ii. Zenith Bank Plc vi. Oko Microfinance Bank
iii. EcoBank Plc vii. First Bank Plc.
iv. Isuofia Microfinance Bank viii. First City Monument Bank Plc.
ix. Ekwulobia Microfinance Bank x. Skye Bank

Forms should be completed and submitted online at (www.federalpolyoko.edu.ng) not later than 25th August, 2013.

Thereafter, examination date and venue will be relayed to qualified candidates through SMS and email (Candidates should ensure they enter complete and correct mobile phone number, email address as well as sponsor's mobile phone number and email address while filling the application forms online).

Notes:
1. The aptitude test shall be computer based (All candidates will take the test using computers)
2. Ensure you use a recent and correct passport photograph during application as this would be used in subsequent screening exercises.

SCREENING TEST AS FOLLOWS:

1. Monday, 30th September:

SCHOOLS OF ENGINEERING, ENVIRONMENTAL AND ARTS, DESIGN AND PRINTING TECHNOLOGY: Depts of Civil, Computer, Electricals and Electronics, Mechanical and Agricultural Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Estate Management, Quantity Surveying, Surveying and Geoinformatics, Urban and Regional Planning, FAA, Fashion Design & Clothing Tech, Printing Technology.

2. Wednesday, 2nd October:

SCHOOL OF FINANCIAL STUDIES AND SOME DEPARTMENTS IN BUSINESS STUDIES: Departments of Accountancy, Banking and Finance, Insurance, Marketing, OTM

3. Thursday, 3rd October:  

SCHOOL OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: Departments of Library and information Technology and Mass Communication

4. Friday, 4th October: 

SCHOOL OF APPLIED SCIENCES: Departments of Science Laboratory Technology, Computer Science, Food Technology, Home and Rural Economics, Maths/Statistics, Hospitality Management.

5. Saturday, 5th October:

SCHOOL OF BUSINESS: Departments of Public and Business Administration



Accreditations start by 7:30am each day

Examinations start by 8:30am each day and candidates are advised to come with two copies of their JAMB Result Print out and their Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Post JAMB acknowledgement slip.

Note: Candidates are reminded that the examination is computer-based and they will not be allowed the use of any mobile devices.
