Summary of Functions: Responsible for ensuring implementation of quality control procedures, in-process inspections and completed product inspections. Serves as the ISO Management Representative of the Company.

Experience Required: 3-5 years

Skills/Qualifications Required:

• Supervises and/or conducts quality control reviews at established inspection points. Verifies and maintains quality control records. Assists in recruiting, training and support for quality personnel to assure effective and competent performance of quality function.

• Participates in the review of all operational, purchasing, and test documentation to assure conformance to quality control standards. This can include review of reports, specification sheets, operational procedures, testing and inspection standards, vendor inspections and customer contract specifications. Reviews and oversees implementation of operational process change notices and related document change control. Makes recommendations regarding facilities, equipment, personnel, procedures and systems to carry out quality control function.

• Supervises tagging and quarantine procedures for rejection of in-process, equipment and component receiving inspection areas. Authorizes rework, scrap or return to vendor decisions; consults and reviews with both the departmental manager and departmental H.O.D as necessary.

• Prepares and reviews complaint (quality) trends. Reports serious or repeated failures or unreliability in quality of products. Recommends corrective actions or plans/programs for overall defect reductions in products or services.

• Ensures the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.

• Ensures that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained.

• Serves as a liaison with external parties on matters relating to the quality management system of the organization.

• Supervises all Quality Control area
