It's hard to fulfill one's destiny without dealing with 'evil family bills' says Rev, Femi Akinola, who prescribes the nuggets on how to settle evil bills. Excerpts:

A bill is a written statement of charges or a legally binding document of an account or debt of money owed. The scripture recognizes that there is a spiritual dimension of all bills some of which could be for evil. Evil bills could be inherited from parents by virtue of their past mistakes, satanic experiences or atrocities.

What are these bills?

These bills could be bondages in the family, evil load/carry over or leftover problems from ancestors.

The book of 2 Kings 4:1 talks about such bill; "One day the widow of a member of the group of prophets came to Elisha and cried out, "My husband who served you is dead, and you know how he feared the Lord. But now a creditor has come, threatening to take my two sons as slaves."

The referred here is Obadiah, a prophet who feared God. The scripture records that he was a righteous man yet he left bills of enslavement for his sons. There are bills that have been left behind in your family and this is why evil occurrences have been the order of the day for you. These bills are legislated by creditor-demons standing on legal grounds of the mistakes of parents and enforcing these bills on their children. For example, because the Jews were hell bent on having Jesus Christ crucified even on false charges, they accepted the consequences of their decision. "His blood be on us and on our children" they said.

Many parents, through curses, have put their children in bondage which they are paying for today. Sometime ago, a brother complained of how he trained people who would later become his boss, traveling round the globe. The trend continued for a long time; and I decided to see his mother. When I enquired if she had done anything more than the ordinary when she was pregnant for the brother, the mother laughed and said, "A shameful thing, which I couldn't admit, happened." So, she had to swear thus, 'if I did it, let the child in my womb never prosper'. And that was the evil bill she left for that brother. You would imagine how many years that could have been.Prophet Ezekiel asked in chapter 18:2 "What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge?

" The passage is telling us that whatever we do today; we are sowing for our children to reap, we are laying down bills for them to come and settle. Gehazi attracted leprosy into his lineage. What is the type of sickness, suffering or sorrow running in your family? That is the bill in that family. Blessings and curses are transferable! Whatever you are doing now is a legacy you are leaving for your children. Anything negative your ancestors did when you were in their loins, you are guilty of same offence. So also, the good they did can be credited to you.

"And as I may so say, Levi also, who receives tithes, paid tithes in Abraham. For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him," Heb 7:9-10 "A good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children, but a sinner's wealth is stored up for the righteous," Pro 13:22.

These unsettled bills of your father's house could be slavery, strange ailment or disease, barrenness, delay, stagnation, untimely death, polygamy, abject poverty or failure. Thus, you need to make conscious effort to either settle or break away from this bill, else, life will continue to be a struggle.

Implications of unsettled bills

"...that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. Exo 34:7

Every past mistake of your parents goes into an archive that the enemy can use as satanic warrant to arrest or detain your destiny. In Genesis 49, Jacob called his children to pronounce blessings as to how their future will be, but as for Reuben, he received a curse which became family pattern in his lineage until Moses came and reversed the curse.

"Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few..." Deut 33:6 In the case of Moses himself, he also had unsettled bills which he did nothing about;

"Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations. O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly..., for in their anger they slew a man, and in their self will they digged down a wall. Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce...;" Gen 49:5-7(KJV) – emphasis mine •Frances Jatth, From Zaria
