The newly sworn-in Permanent Secretaries in Ogun State have been charged to see their appointments as a call to greater service and higher dedication to duty.

Governor Ibikunle Amosun gave the charge during the swearing – in of the newly appointed seven Permanent Secretaries held at the Exco Chamber of the governor’s office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

The governor implored the appointees to use their new positions to offer quality leadership to achieve the set goals of the present administration’s Mission to Rebuild the state. “I charge you to unite the various departments in your Ministries, in line with our administration’s “mission to rebuild the state”. We are beginning a new phase in the Rebuilding Mission”, he submitted.

Governor Amosun said that the new appointments became necessary because of the vacuum created by the recent retirements of some Permanent Secretaries in the Civil service who have attained retirement age,

The newly sworn-in Permanent Secretaries are, Dr. Odeniyi Gabriel Daisi, Ministry of Health, Mrs. Olurin Modupe Abisoye, Hospital Management Board, Mrs Adesanya Ayoola Adeniyi, OGEGEP, and Mrs. Shobayo Adesola Abiodun, Ministry of Justice.

Others are; Mrs. Olowonmi Moyosore Adetoun, Ministry of culture and Tourism, Mr. Badmus Adesina Saliu, Bureau of State Pension and Mr. Ayotunde Adisa Kolawole, Bureau of Local government pension.

While congratulating the new Permanent Secretaries, the Governor admonished them to reciprocate the good gesture of the state government by putting in their best to support the rebuilding mission of the present administration.
